MOTIVATIONAL MONDAY... successes and disappointments

It is drawing near the end of the day, Monday.. but it is never too late to be inspired.  Most of us in real estate, or for that matter any career or task we undertake will appreciate this.

Men's best successes come after their disappointments.

This is one saying that I keep remembering when I go through tough times.  Hope this motivates you too.

Val, I can remember old disappoinments well enough, so my sense of perspective is well established and I am ready for a string of success/uninterupted:)

Hi Valerie, oh so true.  Many times we are able to see the opportunities that arise from the disappointments.  Nice post!

Hi Valerie--this is right on the money for me.  After two days of continuing "disappointments" I was having on a project I had a great inspiration last night.  Seems that is the way it always happens.  I wonder if the successes would not exist except for the disappointments?

Steve.. I hear you on that one.  I'm with you 100% on having success in the near future.

Judith, Thanks.  It is the *ying/yang* effect.  You can't have good without having the bad.  I think we are all ready for the *good* now.  Don't you agree?

Janet.. That is exactly what I just mentioned to Judith as a reply to her comment.  Great minds DO think a like.

Great quote Valerie - I don't think we can appreciate our victories quite as much without our setbacks to compare them too.  As Dolly Parton so aptly put it, "if you want the rainbow you gotta put up with the rain"
