PAY IT FORWARD.... Giving out discount cards

PAY IT FORWARD.... Giving out discount cards.  You know how we all like a deal?  It is even better if someone could help us with a little *Extra* off our purchases.  This is EXACTLY what what I did for a couple who was purchasing a lot of items at Kohl's Department Store

The other night after dinner, I went to Kohl's to find a few things.  Of course, when you ARE looking for something in particular, you never find it.  Which is what happened to me.  I like shopping at Kohl's they have very high quality items.

On my way out of the store, I saw a couple purchasing an arm load of clothes.  I inquired if they were using a discount card, or had a means of reducing the price other than the sales price the items were already at.  They responded *no* and had a curious look on their face.

I explained my situation, and how I had 2 cards they could use... they were thrilled.  I might not have used them, but I know they did NOT go to waste.

Valerie, it is good to see things like that being put to use.  A lot of people would have just let them expire in stead of letting someone else use them.

Valerie that was a sweet gesture. I am sure that couple really appreciated you and that it helped them considerably.  Thanks for sharing,

Valerie, no point in letting a perfectly good discount go to waste. Well done

Hi Valerie, you are such a good hearted and caring person.  To reach out and offer those discount cards was a nice gesture.  Every little bit helps!

Valerie, I do that all the time!  I bring coupons along but end up not using them because I did not make the minimum purchase required or did not find anything to purchase.  Instead of throwing them away, I give it to someone in the store or restaurant.  I've done it at Macy's, Olive Garden and Kohl's.

Valerie, what a great thing to do! A few times I have been in Big Y and been handed coins by someone. It is always such a great feeling!

George... A small gesture like this, too me what?  Less than a minute?  And it probably saved someone at least $40.00.

Cathy... If I couldn't save, why should someone else, not?  I tell you, it feels SOOO good when you help someone out.

Andrea.. Isn't it amazing how something so small can make one's day so much better.  I think we should all do something like to for everyone... every week.  Imagine the positivity it would create.

Kenneth... I wish I did too.  I usually do, but for some reason didn't this time.  Where was my mind?
