When you go out and pay for something, what do you do with the spare change you get? Do you throw it into a donation area, do you give it to your children.. or do you just say "who cares.. it is just some small change.. it doesn't add up to much"? You might want to reconsider this thought.
Last February I made a promise to myself, that for one year I would keep the spare change in my pocket. I just put it into a container and let it sit there. Over this past weekend (now that it has been one year) I decided to count this and see what "little" I had accumulated.
It took about 2 hours to go through.. it took time to put into wrappers for the bank. Much to my surprise it came to $237.42... so much for "little change". Yes, it was one year of just holding onto spare change but it is amazing what you can build up.
Maybe you can have your whole family do this... and a year later go out to dinner on that "spare change". So, don't pass up on the dime you might see on the road, put it into a container. Plus, this will help the economy too... this is nothing but a win-win situation. How do you spend your spare change?
This is just PMA (Positive Mental Attitude).
