There have been many blogs looking for advice on short sales. Here are two pieces of information I have found VERY informative. One, make sure the buyer has at least 25 to 30 days to wait for a response from the bank. Two make sure you use an attorney that specializes in short sales. THEY ARE WORTH THEIR WEIGHT IN GOLD. If you find an attorney who has been handling these transactions... start there. Most likely they have all the necessary forms that your clients will need to fill out... and they probably have already built up a repour with the bank you are using.
Why start from scratch with an attorney who has never dealt with this transaction before.
If you have clients or you need an attorney for this in Connecticut or Massachusetts, please let me know. I HAVE FOUND ONE!!!!
