I first read this blog of Patricia Kennedy's and thought it was just so cute. I stuck with me all day, and then I thought maybe it would with others too. This is a very smart seller who too the extra step(s) to make an impression that would last.

Today, I walked into a house that was done in up in high Pottery Barn. It was beautiful with a brand new kitchen, fabulous baths, a two-story addition that was so well-designed that it made the place looked under-priced.
But wait! I turned the corner to go from the kitchen to the mud room, and then I found this little fellow:
All I could think was how great it would be to have one of these by the back door of my house for Willie the Labradoodl'e muddy paws.
But more important I couldn't get over what a great idea it was to stage this little corner of this manse with one of the cutest stuffed animals I've ever seen!
I mean, look at that face!
