Recently I had clients that were looking for their first home together. I was working with them for about 3 months, and had shown them easily 26 homes.. with no luck. They were focusing their attention on homes in Cromwell, CT and the surrounding area. Then one afternoon a new listing came up in Cromwell and I thought of them immediately and sent it to them. They wanted to see it and we were there viewing the home in less than 24 hours once it hit the MLS.
They loved the home, we made an offer and it was accepted. They just closed on the property last week, and are very excited. At the closing when they were still on a high, I asked them if they would mind if I put on my on *their* property showing that we sold it. They thought this was a great idea. The next day my broker went over and put the sign up.
There are two houses in the area that have been up for sale for a long time, and I am hoping that they speak with my clients for their thoughts on their transaction. Who knows maybe once they find out that this home went under contract in 1 day, they might call me to help them too. All do to a sign.
