Like most of us, we all live in an area that we feel comfortable in. We have nice homes and have friends and family we enjoy being with.
This might seem like it is far off, but it is only around the corner. The holidays are fast approaching, and there are people that don't have all the comforts we do. So, next time you go to the grocery store, why not buy a few extra groceries, and bring them to you local food bank. I'm sure they are starting to stock up on necessities this time of year.
With the increase in gas prices (which are now starting to come down) but heating oil hasn't, food has gone up in price along with a lot of other commodities. There are a lot of people out of work, and food on the table might be a blessing for them. So, why not remember to give a little to those who need it more than we do. You might just make someones day.
Thank you.
