WHY DO REALTORS CHOOSE NOT TO COMMUNICATE?????? ISN'T THIS OUR JOB????

With the real estate market having more inventory than buyers as of late, is this why realtors choose not to communicate by giving feedback when requested to do so?  Sound strange???  I understand that we get busy and can't reply right away, but over a week of not hearing back after leaving message(s)... isn't this unprofessional?

In the last 2 years, when I have had listings.. I always am looking for feedback... Good, bad or indifferent.  When I set up showing for realtors I make it a point that I am looking for this, and would appreciate this informaiton.  If they would call me, all the better, but I will be calling them.  EVERY single realtor agrees feedbackj is important, and will call me, or they have no problem if I call them.

I have left messages, with NO response.  It's been suggested to try email *feedback*.  I've check it out.. but I am noticing a trend of not returning calls for feed back.  Do realtors feel it is a waste of time?  For some reason  feedback is dwindling.  Isn't it our job to convey information?

One person suggested doing feedback via email.  I've check it out.. but it is TOO impersonable, too generic.

Did your client like the property YES/NO.  If it were yes, they would be calling.. obviously it is a no.

Does your client want another showing?  Once again, they would call for this.

What did they think of the price?  Too high, just right, too low.   This AWAYS makes me laugh. If the listing agent did their job right, they wouldn't have to ask this question.

This questions are black and white.. no room for communication, and inflection in one's voice.  So how do I get a response for my sellers, when I am not getting return calls?  Why aren't we communicating... isn't this our job?
